VINYASA “FIRST STEPS”

This class will enable you to spend more time, at a slower pace to develop your practice and learn about asana, pranayama and the way in which your breath, body, mind and movement is linked. Perfectly suited to those newer to yoga, returning home to yoga, recovering from an injury, needing more time to build up strength, flexibility and mobility. This class will be designed to allow you to move at your own pace, in a supported and inclusive way: perhaps using more props, and focused adjustments/cues from the teacher.  A great way to experience “themed” movement such as balance/flow and the joy of spending longer in restorative poses such as savasana.

Weaved through the class will be classic yoga concepts through cues, meditation and some chanting (entirely optional!)

VINYASA “NEXT STEPS”

This class will enable you to spend time at a more dynamic pace, building a practice based on asana, breathwork and building sequences through vinyasa flow. The class will enable you to deepen an existing practice or build on the strength and mobility from other movement modalities eg Pilates. Find your flow, grow and develop through the asana of standing sequences, twists, seated postures, backbends and arm balances. Classes will be themed and repeated to ensure maximum opportunity to develop good alignment and optimise benefits.

Suitable for most people but in particular those with an existing practice looking for some new ways to practice in person locally, for those who want to experience the mental and physical benefits of vinyasa or for those that want to develop sequences for home practice. A great way to come together in a group to feel the added value of yoga by connecting, practicing together and supporting each other to flourish. This class will build on existing strength, stamina, flexibility and mobility through connecting the “dots” of breath, body and movement.

“Weaved” through the class will be classic yoga concepts through cues, meditation and some chanting (entirely optional!)
