From Doing to Being— Friday Night Yoga 645pm - 815pm
All week long, you've been doing. Responding, deciding, producing, moving. Your nervous system has been running the show — alert, reactive, on. By Friday, most of us arrive at the weekend still carrying the week: the unfinished thoughts, the low-grade tension, the sense that we never quite caught up.
This class is an invitation to land.
Rather than rushing from the working week straight into the weekend, we create a threshold — a deliberate pause where you can set down what you've been carrying and remember what it feels like to simply be.
We begin with breathwork to signal safety to your nervous system, shifting you out of the stress response and back into your body. A grounded asana practice follows — movement that isn't about achieving anything, but about feeling everything, reconnecting with yourself from the inside out.
As the energy settles, we move into restorative yoga — deeply supported shapes held long enough for your body to genuinely let go, not just go through the motions of relaxing. And we close with journalling, a quiet space to process the week, notice what's present, and step consciously into your weekend rather than just collapsing into it.
You'll leave feeling like yourself again. Restored, unhurried, and ready — not because you pushed through, but because you finally paused.
